If you shop for RESCUE! Pest Control Traps and Refills online, we encourage you to take a closer look before hitting the “Add to Cart” button. A new batch of insect traps that look suspiciously similar to the RESCUE! Wasp TrapStik recently appeared on Amazon.com, and we’d like to offer some advice to prevent customers from being duped.
Attack of the Clones
Aside from the cloned color scheme and vaguely similar shape, these copycats have little in common with the RESCUE! Wasp TrapStik. Both traps are missing our patented Visilure pattern—the rigorously tested visual attractant that makes RESCUE! TrapStiks so effective. And while each trap incorporates their own attempt at implementing Glue Guards, confusing directions (if they exist at all) will leave you puzzled as you try to figure out how to put them together.
Choose RESCUE!
The RESCUE! Wasp TrapStik, on the other hand, is designed with the consumer in mind. Easy-to-follow directions are clearly printed on the package, and our newest packaging features a QR code that directs users to a video clearly demonstrating the assembly process. Best of all, just like every other RESCUE! product, Wasp TrapStik is proudly designed and manufactured in the United States. When it comes to choosing a trap, RESCUE! is the clear winner.
Shopping for Authentic RESCUE! Products
The easiest way to check if an Amazon listing is advertising an authentic RESCUE! product is to look for the “Visit the RESCUE! Store” link below the product title. If you’re still not sure and you need some help, email us at info@rescue.com—we’re happy to help!
