546. That's the number of yellowjackets caught in a single day by Shawn Woods, whose YouTube channel "Mousetrap Monday" has over 1.1 million subscribers.
Shawn had located an underground yellowjacket nest and decided to test our Disposable Yellowjacket Trap by hanging it from a stake right over the nest entrance. We typically do not recommend this because of the danger involved in getting close to a nest, but Shawn was undeterred -- even going back after he took the trap down and using buckets of soapy water to flood the nest before he dug it up. (Again, we do not recommend this -- an underground nest can potentially house several thousand yellowjackets. Shawn was lucky he only received one sting.)
