Local company donates yellowjacket control to Pig Out in the Park

Spokane, WA, August 30, 2017 –Local manufacturer Sterling International is donating over $1500 worth of its RESCUE!® yellowjacket control products to Pig Out in the Park.

“Pig Out is such a great event to celebrate the end of summer in our beautiful Riverfront Park,” said Stephanie Cates, Director of Marketing & Communications. “To ensure an enjoyable time for attendees and vendors, we want to help keep yellowjackets away from the food and beverages and trap them so they won’t bother people.”

Ninety-six Yellowjacket Traps and 72 Yellowjacket Repellent “DecoShields” (one for every food vendor and table) are being set up by Sterling employees in advance of the event’s start today.

Sterling International, Inc. is celebrating its 35th anniversary as a Spokane business this year. The company got its humble start in a Millwood garage and now sells its yellowjacket traps, repellents and other insect control products all over the world.

Sterling employs 135 people and manufactures all its RESCUE!® Pest Control products in the Spokane Industrial Park.
