Marketing Coordinator

SUMMARY

Marketing Coordinator assists in all marketing functions of the company. This will include consumer product launches, consumer goods packaging, marketing literature, trade shows, travel, retail merchandising, web content, media assets, customer and consumer engagement, and both trade and consumer promotion of our products and brand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other responsibilities may be assigned)

  • Packaging: Design coordination and organization; working with multiple departments and vendors and managing timelines from design inception to delivery.

 

  • literature: Oversee assets, copy, design and vendors within deadlines; create pieces using InDesign templates.

 

 

  • Trade shows: Booth installation and dismantle; assist sales with customer relationships and order writing; coordinating and sourcing booth materials; must

be able to lift to 30 lbs. as needed.

 

  • SUPPORT:
    • Web content, editing and SEO
    • Photo and video shoots
    • Marketing promotions
    • Consumer communications
    • Work with other departments for internal communications and employee promotion materials.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/ Communications/ Business preferred
  • 2-5 years Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
  • Experience working with vendors and other external customers preferred

 

 

  • TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Familiarity with website content management systems
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office and web analytics
  • Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, or Adobe Creative Cloud experience preferred

 

  • OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to proof fine details in print materials
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Must be creative, a critical thinker, team oriented, energetic, organized and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

 

  • TRAVEL: Must have the ability to travel up to 10%.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Our office environment is adjacent to the manufacturing warehouse and R&D. The employee is sometimes exposed to a manufacturing and laboratory environment.
