Marketing Generalist I

Assists in all marketing functions of the company. This will include consumer product launches, consumer goods packaging, marketing literature, trade shows, travel, retail merchandising, web content, media assets, customer and consumer engagement, and both trade and consumer promotion of our products and brand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other responsibilities may be assigned)

PACKAGING: Project Management; working with multiple departments and vendors and managing timelines from inception to delivery; proofreading before anything goes to print.
LITERATURE: Oversee assets, and vendors within deadlines; create a couple pieces using InDesign templates; proofreading.
TRADE SHOWS: Booth installation and dismantle; assist sales with customer relationships and order writing; coordinating and sourcing booth materials; must 
be able to lift to 30 lbs. as needed.
Web content, editing and SEO 
Photo and video shoots with outside vendors
Marketing promotions
Work with other departments for internal communications and employee promotion materials
Coordinate product samples mailing for product reviews
Creation and management of data using Excel
Assist with product reviews and consumer questions on various platforms including Bazaarvoice and social media

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/ Communications/ Business preferred
1-2 years Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
Experience working with vendors and other external customers preferred
Familiarity with website content management systems
Solid computer skills, including MS Office and web analytics 
Adobe Creative Cloud experience welcome
Bazaarvoice experience welcome
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to proof fine details in print materials
Excellent presentation skills
Must be creative, a critical thinker, team oriented, energetic, organized and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
TRAVEL: Must have the ability to travel up to 10%.

Our office environment is adjacent to the manufacturing warehouse and R&D. The employee is sometimes exposed to a manufacturing and laboratory environment.
